Association of Polish Engineers and Technicians in the United States Polonia Technica Inc. was established in 1941 in New York on the initiative of a group of Polish engineers who found themselves in the United States after the outbreak of World War II. Since the beginning of the organization, many Poles in exile have joined the ranks of Polonia Technica, and the association is invariably a showcase of the technical circles of the Polish American community. Currently, Polonia Technica brings together a multitude of engineers living on the east coast of the United States, representing a wide range of technical professions – designers, constructors, technologists, inventors, lecturers, and entrepreneurs. We are connected by professional passions, interest in technology, and Polish origin. |
